Experienced dancers and teachers started Moving Studios. They have brought enriching dance experiences to scores of children over the years.
copyright 2007 elizabeth luff Founders Eileen Lawson, Donna Starkman and Elizabeth Luff danced together in the Philadelphia area for a decade performing at the Painted Bride, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Please Touch Museum. Together they created a preschool dance curriculum that has been tested in a variety schools and communities. Lawson holds a BFA in Dance and a Master’s in Elementary Education. Starkman has degrees in both Dance and Elementary Education. Luff has a BA , has been an Artist in Education for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and is a certified teacher trainer for the PQAS program for the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.

- Creative Dance classes at nursery schools, dance studios, camps, private schools, day care centers and after school programs for children ages 3 and up
- Teacher Workshops at professional conferences or individual schools
- Mom and Tot classes to get you started on the right foot.
- Fitness classes fore teens and adults
- Birthday parties at your home or First Position Movement Arts Center in Havertown
- Assembly Programs are interactive experiences using storytelling, a variety of music and lots of imagination!
